Spirit Airlines-5000th Order Mark Passed By Airbus A320 Family
Airbus congratulates for having passed the 5000th order mark passed for Airbus A320 family.
During the last two years Airbus has received about 1600 A320 orders, making that A320 become the best-selling and fastest-selling airjet in aircraft history.
The 5000th came when airbus received an order of 30 A319 from costumer Spirit Airlines.
Airbus Chief Executive Officer, Louis Gallois commented "The 5,000th order of our A320 aircraft family marks an historic milestone for Airbus and the aviation industry"
In order to deal with the high amounth of orders Airbus is implementing a steady production ramp-up.
